The pace of life isn’t slowing down – and neither are our responsibilities. That’s exactly why 2026 isn’t about doing more for me. It’s about doing things on purpose.
As my husband and I sat down to map out our 2026 calendar, one word guided every decision: intentional.
Not reactive.
Not chaotic.
Intentional.
Because when your life and business grow, your systems – and your priorities – have to grow with them. This year isn’t about squeezing things in. It’s about designing a life that supports success and fulfillment.
Leading with Intention… and Fun!
Everything I do in 2026 will be done with intention. That means every commitment, every expansion, every yes – and every no – has a purpose behind it.
But here’s the other word that’s just as important: fun.
Growth doesn’t have to feel heavy. Expansion doesn’t have to mean burnout. I want my life to feel aligned, joyful, and energized – not just productive. That’s why even as I expand my team and my business, I’m doing it intentionally. Expansion without intention creates stress. Expansion with intention creates freedom.
When you plan your year with both purpose and joy in mind, your calendar stops feeling like a burden – and starts becoming a tool that supports your life.
One Calendar That Runs It All
One of the biggest shifts we’ve made is running our entire life – business, family, and personal commitments – on one shared calendar.
This calendar is the backbone of our household. Everything goes on it:
My schedule. My husband’s schedule. The kids. Family events. Travel. Business commitments. I
t’s all there, clearly visible and color-coded so nothing gets missed.
This gives us clarity at both the big-picture level and the day-to-day level. We can see busy seasons coming, protect family time, and avoid overcommitting before it happens. When everything lives in one place, decision-making becomes easier and stress drops dramatically.
Clarity creates calm.
Strategic Partnership Starts at Home
Success means nothing to me if my marriage and my relationship with my kids aren’t strong. That’s non-negotiable.
That’s why we prioritize weekly check-ins. These aren’t long meetings – they’re short, intentional conversations. Sometimes 10 minutes. Sometimes 30. But they matter.
These check-ins give us space to talk through schedules, expectations, and anything that needs attention before it becomes a problem. They keep us connected, aligned, and moving in the same direction – together.
When your partnership at home is strong, everything else runs better. Business decisions are clearer. Energy is higher. And life feels more grounded.
What Intentional Living Really Creates
Intentional living isn’t about perfection. It’s about alignment.
When you lead with intention, plan with clarity, and stay connected to the people who matter most, success stops feeling like a constant push. It starts feeling sustainable – and enjoyable.
At the heart of everything I build – every plan, every goal, every calendar – I put my family first.
That’s not something I’m willing to sacrifice for success.
It’s the foundation that makes success meaningful.
2026 isn’t about doing it all.
It’s about doing what matters – on purpose.
